Communication Error ( Infrared )

The optimum distance beetwen the CARDY and Infrared is 20 cm but it can work even 3 m distance !
The critical issue is that there must be an uninterupted ( no objects in place ) straight line to provide an efficient communication ( think about the TV remote switches ).

Cardy only works with the infrared supplied ( connected to the serial ) . If your computer (
some of the laptop ) has an inbuilt infrared than make sure that it does not face to the same
direction or it is suggested to set „disable” while you want to use the CARDY.

If during the monitoring ( raw ECG ) you interupt the flow of the transmission or move the
CARDY the monitoring display will stop but will return as soon as you place the CARDY
back to the right direction .
If the same ( accidental ) interruption happen while you want to get the ECG analyzis then
you will get an Analysys error . IN that case please repeat the amalyzis.

Analyzis error

While the raw ECG recording , monitoring can show noizy ECG as well the analyzis only
allow quality ECG to be recorded. In case of the error message check if all the eletrodes ( in
that case must be 6 ) placed correctly and there are no other eletrical interfereence at the time
from the local environment.

Observing noizy ( hairy ) ECG on the computer screen usually will result analizis error as
well . If you use Laptop , or LCD screen with power adapter make sure that none of the leads
are close to the power adaptor ( battery charger unit . ) In case of the laptop if the problem
persist disconnect the power from the main while recording the ECG.

Make sure that the animal is relaxed , gentle water spray might help to calm down the animal.

The connection of the electrodes also can be improved with water the area or in some case
with some alcohol .
